This talk covers the changing role of HR leadership and the evolution of HR technology, the key drivers for HRIS transformation, how to align HRIS investment to a business strategy, the importance of adoption in achieving business case realisation, and how HR leaders need to become digital winners. HR has evolved through the years from being payroll-centric, through on=premise HR and ERP systems, to today with the advent of high impact, cloud HR systems that support business strategy and drive business imperatives. When thinking about HR transformation, it is imperative to link any investment in an HR system with the overall business strategy of the company. When creating simple, straightforward HR transformation business cases, keep it simple and focus on four main areas: the compelling need; current costs; future/planned costs (recurring); and one-time transition/restructuring costs.
