Who are we? 

Verizon is one of the biggest communications service providers (CSPs) in the world—our 2022 revenue was $136.8B. But as our Credo says, "We know that bigness is not our strength, best is our strength." We manage networks for over 4,500 large enterprises. This includes well-known names such as Bayer and Tate and Lyle. We enable them to connect their locations, their people, their partners and their customers, securely. 

What makes us different? 

There are lots of CSPs out there, but many are quite local in scope. A few can claim to be global, but the ability to deliver solutions worldwide reliably is very rare. One of the things that sets us apart is our deep commitment to understanding our clients' challenges and helping solve them. We know technology on its own isn't a solution. Our people bring incredible industry knowledge and appreciation of the problems companies face. 

We offer solutions 

Technology moves fast, and organisations don't want to get left behind. Some may be dealing with legacy investments, underutilised technology and lack of integration with their system stack. Many organisations are looking for expertise to help define their architecture, roadmap and how the technology services implemented will be supported. As well as helping to shape core networking technologies and standards such as 5G, we continue to invest in innovation and have led the way for 20 years in developing managed service support models for network and security technologies. 

Security is a core competence 

We've been in the security business for two decades. Managing one of the world's largest IP networks gives you a lot of experience— including processing an average of 61 billion security events a year. We've also been at the forefront of investigating the threat landscape. Since 2011, the Verizon Data Breach Investigations Report has been providing insight into the threat actors and the techniques they use. Each edition—the 16th is coming soon—is now eagerly awaited by many industry professionals.
