Achim is a principal analyst based in Singapore, serving CIOs across Asia Pacific. His research focuses on analytics and data-driven transformation; the interplay of technology capabilities and business capabilities; and organizational change and governance. He writes about the business applications of analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud technologies across industries, with a focus on analytics-driven customer experience and insights, analytics-enabled IoT and Industry 4.0, and the organizational and technological aspects of operationalizing analytics successfully across organizations. Achim brings 20 years of global experience in technology and services, with expertise in analytics, big data, cloud, and business technology. Before joining Forrester, Achim was the chief technologist, analytics, for DXC (formerly Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services), working with clients across Asia on their digital transformation. Prior to that, Achim worked for major industry players in the analytics technology and services space - SAS Institute, IBM Global Services, and Microsoft - in regional roles across Europe, Asia, and the US. Achim holds a master’s degree in physics from Mercator University Duisburg, Germany.
