Jeffery Tay is currently the Assistant Director of IT Infrastructure at Nanyang Polytechnic, leading a cross-functional team comprising Cloud, Servers, Network, Data Centre, End User Computing and Cybersecurity. He is a veteran in the local education industry, with experience in designing, implementing and securing large scale campus-wide solutions. Prior to joining NYP, he was providing Edutech and IT support to both corporate and academic staff in the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine as well as driving the overall cloud strategy for Nanyang Technological University. Prior to joining LKCMedicine, he was working in Microsoft Singapore acting as a strategic technology advisor for C-level executives in the education and research space. Providing them with insights, reference architectures and reference business models to help them transform their business to be more productive, have a better cybersecurity posture and to run securely on the cloud.
