Rasmus Holtet Rüsz is leading VMware by Broadcom’s Solution Architects Organization across Asia-Pacific & Japan and is responsible for aligning the wider Solution Architect community and leading global engagement for APJ, building out VMware By Broadcom’s strategy for technical solutions selling. Bringing greater consistency and optimizing our efforts across our strategic customer’s delivering outcome & drive innovation. Rasmus' experience in technical leadership roles and collaboration, having lived and worked across EMEA and Asia place him well to support VMware By Broadcom’s Business Model Transformation while delivering on our Enterprise Private Cloud strategy fueled by VMware Cloud Foundation and aligned advances Services. Leveraging his customer and partner eco-system alignment and market understanding combined with executive relations enabling customer’s “digital” business model in an increasingly demanding global economic climate as well as creating a foundation for our ecosystem to flourish on. Rasmus spent close to 20 years with VMware By Broadcom across multiple leadership roles in EMEA and APJ region. Starting in Denmark as a Systems Engineer, leading the Nordics Solutions Architect Team, followed by Network & Security Business Unit for Northern Europe and later building the SDDC (Software Defined Datacenter) practice in EMEA before relocating to Japan, where he led one of our biggest Solution Architect organisations for four years and has been responsible for technical leadership and engagement with the worldwide community. Rasmus thrives on building and shaping a high-performing team and considers it a key element of VMware By Broadcom’s sales and support engine. He has successfully been a critical link between BUs and corporate teams, driving the best outcome for the business. Prior to joining VMware By Broadcom, Rasmus led IT transformation within the financial sector as an IT consultant specializing in Infrastructure architecture supporting and developing Internet Banking applications and solutions. Rasmus holds a bachelor’s in computer science from Copenhagen/Aarhus Business College and an executive MBA in Leadership/Management Development from Copenhagen Business School.
