Paul Simos is an Enterprise Technology Sales leader with over two decades of proven industry expertise across Asia Pacific and Japan. Paul was previously the Vice President and Managing Director for Southeast Asia and Korea for VMware. In his new role, Paul leads Broadcom’s efforts in Asia, focusing on Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea and Taiwan, developing and driving trusted partnerships with customers and partners to advise and deliver enhanced solutions aligned to their strategic priorities.
Paul has also executed some of the largest multi-cloud transformation deals in the Asia Pacific and Japan region over the last few years as Head of Enterprise for the Asia Pacific and Japan region. He has driven exceptional growth across different aspects of VMware’s business, from the wide growth in the enterprise business in the Asia Pacific and Japan region to transformational deals across large and government customers in Australia and New Zealand.
With a strong passion for technology and immeasurable knowledge on building and supporting key relationships with customers and partners alike to bolster their technology roadmaps to tackle modern business challenges across different geographies and business models, Paul understands the diverse intricacies of the vibrant economies in Asia Pacific. By taking a human approach to leadership every day, he has successfully led teams to excel in driving transformative outcomes for our customers to meet their common business priorities.
Prior to joining Broadcom, Paul was State Manager at Dell EMC and Managing Director for the Pacific Region at Veritas Technologies LLC and Symantec in Australia. In his leadership role at Dell EMC, Veritas Technologies LLC and Symantec, he led the successful divestment and separation of Symantec and Veritas across Australia and New Zealand.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Communications in Advertising from Monash University.
Phu Hong is leading VMware by Broadcom’s Solution Architects Organization across Asia. He is responsible for aligning the wider Solution Architect community and leading global engagement across Asia, building out VMware By Broadcom’s strategy for technical solutions selling. Bringing greater consistency and optimizing our efforts across our strategic customer’s delivering outcome & drive innovation.
Phu has 20+ years’ experience within the IT industry from solution architecture to professional services managing businesses delivering large infrastructure related international teams & projects. Prior to VMware by Broadcom, he has held leadership roles at Citrix, Cisco, and AWS.
