OVHcloud strengthens its offering with new office and increased collaboration with Asia-Pacific
OVHcloud has expanded upon its Asia-Pacific offerings, entering an entirely new development phase in Singapore and India, which has been announced at this year’s Cloud Expo Asia. Two years after the start of its operations in the region, with datacenters in Singapore and Sydney and headquarters in Melbourne, the cloud-provider has placed further investment in the market.
Increased collaboration with India and the initial introduction phase in Singapore will strengthen the global investment plan to fasten the deployment of new solutions, such as the Public Cloud. More than one and half million customers in 138 countries already rely on the OVH infrastructures. OVHcloud is also working hard to launch a new range of dedicated servers, equipped with the latest components from Intel, to enable start-ups and small-to-medium businesses with scalability and performance solutions.
“Our priority is to provide and deploy secure, flexible, reliable and affordable cloud solutions to our partners and customers in Asia-Pacific. The OVH Group opening the Singapore office is in an effort to make its solutions further accessible to organisations of all sizes worldwide” commented Lionel Legros, Asia Pacific Director, OVHcloud.
OVHcloud is celebrating 20 years this month, which will be marked by Octave Klaba, Founder and Chairman and Michel Paulin, Chief Executive Officer, at its annual summit in Paris October 10. The cloud-provider will also unveil and celebrate its rebranding to OVHcloud.
“The rebranding is an important milestone for the business. We are a new brand, with the same DNA. We will remain open, and continue to evolve, while still staying true to our vision of a SMART Cloud, focussed on delivering innovative business solutions, deploying infrastructure to businesses of any size” said Michel Paulin, Chief Executive Officer, OVHcloud.
During the Cloud Expo Asia, OVHcloud will showcase its new Partner Program, available internationally, designed to better support the digital transformation of organisations by facilitating their training, sales support and technical support for OVH solutions. A Singapore-based Partner Program Manager will lead the local ecosystem in managing resellers and service providers collaborating in the program. By the end of the year, global customers will benefit from a new support program, deployed globally, with four different levels of service. This will be supported by a local team based in Bengaluru, India.
