IDA and Cloud Expo Asia Collaborate to Drive Cloud Growth in the Region
SINGAPORE, 10 September 2013 ? In an effort to spur the cloud computing industry and drive adoption of cloud services, Cloud Expo Asia announced today that the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) will be co-organizing CloudAsia 2013 in November, co-located with Cloud Expo Asia 2013. The event will be a platform for Cloud Expo Asia and IDA to work together to position Singapore as a regional hub for next-generation cloud computing development and adoption.
?CloudAsia as a conference will feature sharing of experiences, issues and challenges by user organisations and thought leaders in the cloud computing space. The event represents part of our efforts to enhance the vibrancy and growth of Singapore's infocomm sector through the development of a cloud ecosystem,? said Dr Lee Hing Yan, Director, National Cloud Computing Office, IDA.
Organised by Cloud Expo Asia Pte. Ltd., a subsidiary of CloserStill Media, Cloud Expo Asia aims to be the leading event in Asia focused on the cloud computing ecosystem for senior ICT decision makers and the cloud industry. Also, the newly launched Data Centre World Asia will be running alongside the event. These events will give thought leaders in the industry a forum to come together in order discuss the potential opportunities and challenges of a fast-growing industry in Asia Pacific.

Cloud Expo Asia and CloudAsia will feature over 140 speakers including global thought leaders in cloud computing and more than 50 case studies from real practitioners. The event's world-class conference programme will feature over nine dedicated theatres which are defined by both discipline and technology such as Security & Governance, Virtualisation & Infrastructure and Big Data & Analytics.
Keynote speakers will feature C-Level executives from major IT companies and the industry.
